Driving Lesson Requirements
Teens Ages 15-17
If you are between 15 and 18 years old, the state of California requires you take at least 6 hours behind the wheel lesson with a license driving instructor at a DMV-approved program, such as RHC Driving School.
Adult Age 18 and Older
If you are over 18 years old, we recommend professional driving lessons. Driver training significantly reduces collisions and traffic violation among new drivers. Plus, you will learn everything you need to know to pass your DMV driving test.
